The Wind That Generates Welding Equipment

Weld Design for ARES I-X
Larry Boros, NASA welding engineer, will speak about the design and fabrication of the Ares I-X Upper Stage Mass SImulator. The meeting will be at St. Paul’s Hellenic Center on Tuesday March 12.
Can Welders Play Video Games?
Join the AWS Cleveland Section at Lorain County Community College (LCCC) for the February meeting. Topics will include Weld-Ed and Lincoln Electric’s VRTEX virtual weld training systems. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm and the program starts at 7:00 pm.
Cost Cutting With Submerged Arc Welding
Mark your calendar for January 8 to learn about the latest submerged arc welding (SAW). The meeting will be at Lincoln Electric in Euclid. Dinner will begin between 6 and 7 pm followed by a presentation and demonstrations at 7pm.
Annual Silent Auction and Christmas Party
The Annual Silent Auction and Christmas Party will be held on Decmeber 11, 2012 at St. Paul’s Hellenic Center. Money raised at the auction is used to fund the AWS Cleveland Sections’s three scholarships.
