The Lehigh Valley Section of the American Welding Society is proud to have a technical talk with a question and answer period with Robert Wiswesser. Robert will be speaking about the latest developments and future trends in certification from AWS. He will discuss the Senior CWI program, what changes are coming down the road with regard to the CWI Endorsements program, and options for renewing your CWI certification.
Robert is the current Chairman of the AWS Certification Committee and owner of WTTI. He is an AWS Senior Certified Welding Inspector, AWS Certified Radiographic Inspector, and AWS Certified Welding Inspector. He has an extensive resume cumulating in 40 years of welding, training, and inspection experience. Robert holds a BS from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY and extensive ASNT/ACCP Level III certifications in liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, visual inspection, and ultrasonics.
So, if you are a person/company with questions about certifications this is the man to be asking. Don’t miss this night for camaraderie among welding friends and listen to Bob speak. We will have refreshments (soda & pizza) with a “pass the hat” to deter expenses.
