The AWS Peoria Section is always looking for section members to serve on the Section Board of Directors. If you are interested in helping to promote the science and art of welding please contact a current board member or talk to a board member at the Steak Fry.
April 2012 Meeting - Tuesday, April 17, 2012American Welding Society Peoria Section Members –
This month, representatives from Nelson Fastening Systems will be providing an overview of the stud welding process and a demonstration of Nelson fastening equipment. The meeting will be held at the ICC East Peoria Campus, Agriculture and Industrial Technology building room 203 for the presentation and room 233 (welding laboratory) for the demonstration.
There will be Professional Development Hour (PDH) forms available for CWIs needing recertification hours.
The Peoria Board of Directors is seeking additional section members to participate on the board. If you are interested in serving on the Peoria Board of Directors please contact me or any of the current board members.
The annual Steak Fry will be held on 4 May 2012 at the Optimist Club in Morton. Tickets will be available at the April meeting.
